The term Social Story™ was developed by Carol Gray and refers to a specific methodology with defined sentence ratios and authoring criteria. C2Story is a flexible illustrated-story tool — we make it easy to produce custom, personalized story pages for autistic kids and other neurodivergent learners, but we are not affiliated with the Carol Gray Social Stories™ program and we don\'t claim to automatically conform to its full criteria.
If your child\'s team is following the Carol Gray method, use C2Story to draft and illustrate, then review the descriptive/directive sentence balance with your SLP, BCBA, or special-ed teacher. If you\'re using a more general social-narrative approach, the tool will fit the way you already work.
